Know:BRCA Genetic Risk Assessment
The Project
- Know:BRCA is an online tool that collects a detailed personal and family history of breast and ovarian cancer.
- It uses the BRCAPRO model to analyze family history and inform young women if their family history is associated with increased risk for a BRCA gene mutation.
My Role
- I led the team which designed and developed this site. I served as the UX designer and as the Product Owner of the design/development team.

Lupus Self-Management App
The Project
- The app makes it easy to track self-care routines and symptoms
- The app was designed based on direct feedback from people diagnosed Lupus
- The app was designed to run on iOS and Android platforms

Radiation Emergency Website
The Project
- The mission of this site is to provide actionable information to the general public in the case of a radiological emergency.
- The messaging for the site was organized around the "Get Inside, Stay Inside, Stay Tuned" triad.
- The communication strategy underwent two rounds of concept testing before implemention.
My Role
- I led the team which designed and developed this site. I served as the UX designer while also serving as the Project Manager.
